Immediately: Providers must log into NPPES to review and update all provider information including practice names, mailing addresses, phone/fax numbers, and specialties. Add all active practice locations where patients are seen and can schedule appointments. Remove any inactive practice locations. After updating information, providers must certify the accuracy of all data in NPPES. Note: This does not affect Medicare fee-for-service billing.
