Action Required
Before January 1, 2023: Providers must contact all patients with active Remicade authorizations to discuss switching to Avsola or Inflectra biosimilars. If medically necessary to continue Remicade, complete and submit coverage exception forms to Prime Therapeutics starting January 1, 2023. Note: Medicare authorizations are not affected - change applies only to new Medicare starts after 1/1/23.
