Providers must update inaccurate information including name, address, phone numbers, and specialty, and certify the accuracy of their data.
Action Required
Providers must log into NPPES to review and update their information including provider name, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and specialty. Add all addresses where you actively practice and see patients, remove any practice locations no longer in use, and certify the information is accurate. This only affects Medicare Advantage billing, not Medicare Fee-For-Service.
