Immediately: Any BCBSRI-contracted providers who have moved out of state must terminate their BCBSRI contract and stop filing claims directly to BCBSRI. Redirect all claims to the local BCBS plan in the state where currently practicing. If found practicing out-of-state without terminating, provider will receive 90-day notice to transfer patients to in-network providers.
