Summary
CMS requires all participating providers to complete mandatory annual D-SNP (Dual Special Needs Plan) Model of Care training by March 31, 2024. Providers can attend BCBSRI Teams sessions, complete self-paced online training with attestation, or request personalized training for their practice.
Action Required
By March 31, 2024: Providers (not staff) must personally complete D-SNP Model of Care training. Choose one option: 1) Attend a BCBSRI Teams session (multiple dates available through March 27, 2024), 2) Complete online PowerPoint training and submit D-SNP Provider Attestation Form, or 3) Request personalized training by emailing ProviderRelations@bcbsri.org. Training cannot be delegated to staff members.
