Summary
BCBSRI requires all participating providers to complete mandatory annual D-SNP (Dual Special Needs Plan) Model of Care training by March 31, 2024, as mandated by CMS. Providers can attend live Microsoft Teams sessions in December 2023, complete independent self-study, or request personalized training.
Action Required
By March 31, 2024: All providers (not billing staff) must personally complete D-SNP Model of Care training. Options: 1) Attend one of the scheduled Microsoft Teams sessions between Dec 5-21, 2023, 2) Complete independent review of PowerPoint materials and submit D-SNP Provider Attestation Form, or 3) Email ProviderRelations@bcbsri.org to request personalized training. Training cannot be delegated to staff and must be completed by providers themselves.
