Summary
BCBSRI now requires medical records to be submitted with all corrected claims that result from audit findings. Claims will continue to be denied if medical records are not attached to the corrected claim submission.

Immediately: Billing team must attach medical records to ALL corrected claims being resubmitted due to audit findings. Update billing workflow to include medical record attachment step before resubmitting any audit-related corrected claims. Claims will be denied without attached medical records.
