BCBSRI is launching an online portal in January 2024 that will allow providers to submit claims, request claim adjustments, and submit appeals directly through bcbsri.com. Small offices can submit claims online while larger offices can continue using clearinghouses.
Action Required
Before January 2024: Small billing offices should fill out the BCBSRI form to register for training on the new online claim submission portal. Larger offices using clearinghouses can continue current processes but should register for training on online claim adjustments and appeals functionality. All offices will gain ability to request claim adjustments and submit appeals through bcbsri.com portal.
