Summary
BCBSRI requires all participating providers to complete mandatory annual D-SNP (dual special needs plan) Model of Care training by March 31, 2024. Providers can attend live Microsoft Teams sessions in January, complete self-paced PowerPoint training with attestation, or request personalized training.
Action Required
By March 31, 2024: All providers (not billing staff) must personally complete D-SNP Model of Care training. Choose from: (1) Attend live Microsoft Teams sessions on Jan 10 (12-1pm), Jan 17 (5-6pm), or Jan 24 (12-1pm), (2) Complete self-paced PowerPoint training and submit D-SNP Provider Attestation Form, or (3) Email ProviderRelations@bcbsri.org to request personalized training. Training cannot be delegated to staff and is required for CMS compliance.
