Summary
BCBSRI requires all providers participating in D-SNP (dual special needs plans) to complete mandatory annual training on the Model of Care by March 31, 2024. Providers can attend virtual sessions, complete self-paced training with attestation, or request personalized training for their practice.
Action Required
By March 31, 2024: All providers (not staff) participating in BCBSRI D-SNP plans must complete mandatory training. Choose one option: (1) Attend a Microsoft Teams session on Feb 7, Feb 21, Mar 6, or Mar 27, (2) Review PowerPoint materials independently and submit D-SNP Provider Attestation Form, or (3) Request personalized training by emailing ProviderRelations@bcbsri.org. Training cannot be delegated to staff - providers must complete personally.
