By May 1, 2026: Providers should familiarize themselves with the doula referral process. No billing team action is required—this policy does not affect billing codes, claims submission, or reimbursement. Providers may refer eligible New York Medicaid members via the Anthem provider portal (anthembluecross.com/ny/provider) or by emailing ENYMaternalandChildHealth@anthem.com for complex cases.
