Summary
BCBSRI requires all providers participating in D-SNP (dual special needs plans) to complete mandatory annual Model of Care training by March 31, 2024. Providers can attend live Microsoft Teams sessions, complete self-paced training with attestation, or request personalized training.
Action Required
By March 31, 2024: All providers (not staff) who treat D-SNP patients must complete CMS-required Model of Care training. Options: 1) Attend remaining live sessions (March 6 or March 27), 2) Complete self-paced PowerPoint training and submit D-SNP Provider Attestation Form, or 3) Request personalized training via ProviderRelations@bcbsri.org. Training cannot be delegated to staff.
