Summary
BCBS Rhode Island has launched a new online claims submission portal in late February 2024. Providers can now submit professional claims, corrected claims, adjustments, and appeals through the web-based provider portal instead of previous methods.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team should attend one of the live training sessions (March 8, 11, 13, or 15) to learn the new web claims submission system. Register for training to learn how to submit professional claims, corrected claims, adjustments, and appeals through the new online portal. Note: FEP and Facility Claims are not included in this new system.
