Summary

Immediately: Billing team must send updated practice contact information (name, submitter/mailbox ID, email, phone) to hipaa.edi.support@bcbsri.org. Update EDI file PER segments with current contact details. Monitor 999 reports for each batch transmission (834/837/820/270/276) to verify file acceptance. Contact BCBS RI EDI team before resubmitting rejected files rather than automatically reprocessing.
