Summary

Anthem MyCare Ohio is implementing a phased rollout of a Referral Dashboard in Care Central for LTSS (Long-Term Services & Supports) providers. Phase 1, effective April 2026, will route referrals for 10 service types (adult day health, nutrition consultation, respite care, etc.) through the Care Central Referral Dashboard instead of phone/email. Providers must log into Care Central, enable referral notifications, and maintain accurate provider information to receive referrals.

Action Required

Action needed
By April 1, 2026: Billing and referral coordination team must (1) Verify your practice's LTSS service credentials in the Anthem Provider Directory and confirm which Phase 1 services apply; (2) Ensure all staff with Care Central access have referral notification settings enabled (log into Care Central > person icon > My Profile > toggle referral notifications On); (3) Verify accurate provider information, service types, and location details in the Anthem Provider Directory, as incorrect information will result in missed referrals; (4) Train all relevant staff on accessing referrals in Care Central's Incoming tab and responding timely to referrals; (5) Update internal referral processes to check Care Central instead of monitoring phone/email for Phase 1 LTSS services. Failure to enable notifications and maintain accurate information will result in providers not receiving referrals for applicable LTSS services.
