Before October 1, 2025: If your practice has credentialed PCPs, verify which providers qualify as eligible PCPs with BCBSRI. Update billing workflows to remove prior authorization requirements for all services (except medications) when treating fully insured BCBSRI commercial members. Continue using eligibility verification system to confirm member's fully insured commercial status before services. Consider attending BCBSRI training sessions scheduled September 16-30.
