BCBSRI has changed the fax number for submitting related readmission appeal requests and documentation. Effective November 1, 2025, all submissions must use the new fax number (401) 459-1623 or email at gau_clinical.support@bcbsri.org.
Action Required
By November 1, 2025: Billing team must update all systems, forms, and documentation to use the new fax number (401) 459-1623 for BCBSRI related readmission appeals. Replace old fax numbers in billing software, staff reference sheets, and workflow documents. Email option gau_clinical.support@bcbsri.org can be used as alternative.
