Summary
Effective February 1, 2026, four new drugs will require prior authorization: Exdensur (Depemokimab), Ryvrevant Faspro (Amivantamab-hyaluronidase), Vabrinty (Leuprolide Acetate), and Yartemleya (Narsoplimab). These specialty medications span oncology and other therapeutic areas and will require PA approval before administration.
Action Required
Before February 1, 2026: Billing team must update prior authorization protocols for HCPCS codes J3590, J9999, J9217, and J3490 when billing for the specified new drugs (Exdensur, Ryvrevant Faspro, Vabrinty, and Yartemleya). Add PA requirements to billing system and create alerts for staff. Providers must obtain prior authorization before administering these medications or claims will be denied.
