Summary
California Blue Cross terminated Charter Care/Astrada Health plans effective 12/31/2025. Claims for dates of service 1/1/2026-3/31/2026 must be submitted to Personify, and claims from 4/1/2026 onward should be filed with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island using new member IDs.

Immediately: Billing team must update claim routing for Charter Care/Astrada Health patients. For DOS 1/1/2026-3/31/2026, submit claims to Personify using patient's new Personify ID from their updated insurance card. Starting 4/1/2026, submit claims to BCBSRI using the member's new BCBSRI ID. Update billing system to route these claims correctly and train staff to verify patient insurance cards for proper payer identification.
