Immediately: All providers offering sleep testing and therapy services must register in OptiNet through the Blue Cross of Idaho provider portal. Navigate to Authorizations & Notifications > Carelon Prior Authorizations > Launch > Access Your Optinet Registration. Each location must have separate registration. Obtain prior authorization before scheduling sleep studies, therapy equipment, or oral appliances. For retrospective authorizations, call Carelon at 866-714-1105 within 7 days of service date or claims will be denied.
