Submit corrected claims for previous COVID-19 testing services if specimen handling codes were omitted. Stop billing nurse level visits (99201, 99211) in place of specimen collection codes. Update billing system to bypass prior authorization requirements for inpatient admissions with COVID-19 diagnosis U07.1.
