Summary
Effective October 1, 2020, BCBSWY no longer administers Wyoming's Kid Care CHIP program, which has been merged into the Department of Health's Medicaid program. Claims with dates of service prior to January 1, 2019 must be submitted to BCBSWY on paper by December 31, 2020.
Action Required
By December 31, 2020: Billing team must submit any remaining claims or claim adjustments with dates of service prior to January 1, 2019 to BCBSWY on paper only - electronic claims cannot be processed. For Wyoming Kid Care CHIP patients after October 1, 2020, redirect all claims to Wyoming Department of Health's Medicaid program instead of BCBSWY.
