BCBS Wyoming is transitioning all prior authorization submissions for outpatient and professional services to the Availity portal starting September 1st, 2021. Training webinars are being offered to help providers with this transition, with the first session scheduled for June 17th at 11:00 AM MT.
Action Required
By September 1st, 2021: All staff handling prior authorizations must transition from current submission methods to the Availity portal for all BCBS Wyoming outpatient and professional service prior authorizations. Register for the June 17th, 2021 training webinar at 11:00 AM MT through the Availity Learning Center to learn the new submission process. Update workflow procedures to use only the Availity portal for BCBS Wyoming prior auth submissions after September 1st.
