Summary
Beginning September 1st, 2021, all prior authorizations for outpatient or professional services for BCBS Wyoming members must be submitted through the Availity portal instead of previous methods. BCBS Wyoming is offering training webinars to help providers transition to this new system.
Action Required
By September 1, 2021: All staff handling prior authorizations must transition to submitting BCBS Wyoming prior auths through Availity portal only. Register for training webinar on August 17, 2021 at 11:00 am MT by logging into Availity Portal > Help & Training > Get Trained. Update workflow procedures to use only Availity for all BCBS Wyoming outpatient and professional service prior authorizations.
