By September 1st: Stop using Availity for all prior authorizations. Use fax to 307-432-2917 with form from bcbswy.com website, or call 1-800-251-1814 for inpatient/concurrent reviews. Expect longer processing times but still within 14-day timeframe. Monitor for direct contact from BCBSWY regarding authorization cancellations during system transition.
