Summary
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming is updating their corrected claims process effective July 1, 2025. When submitting a corrected claim, it will now void the original claim and create a new one, and claims without SCCF will be processed manually instead of auto-rejecting.
Action Required
Before July 1, 2025: Billing team must update corrected claims workflow for BCBSWY claims. Ensure corrected bills reference the most recent claim as the original claim. Note that voided claims cannot be used for corrected bill submissions. Update staff training on new manual processing for host claims without SCCF.
