Summary
Starting January 1, 2026, BCBSND will partner with Sword Health to offer virtual physical therapy services to members with fully insured copay plans (high-deductible health plans excluded). This virtual MSK care program is designed to complement, not replace, in-person physical therapy services.

Before January 1, 2026: Billing team should monitor for new virtual physical therapy billing codes and coverage policies from BCBSND. Front desk staff should be prepared to inform BCBSND members about this virtual PT option as a complement to in-person services.
