Summary
Starting September 1, 2026, providers who fail to complete their quarterly CAA Provider Directory Validation within 30 days will have all claims under non-confirmed NPI numbers automatically denied until validation is completed. The next validation is due around July 4, 2026.
Action Required
By August 1, 2026: Complete the Third Quarter CAA Provider Directory Validation (released around July 4, 2026) within 30 days of receiving the notification email. Practice administrators must log into the Enrollment and Credentialing area of the Blue Cross VT website to complete validation for all NPI numbers. Failure to complete validation will result in ALL claims being denied starting September 1, 2026, and denied claims must be resubmitted after completing validation.
