Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) has extended the timely filing limit for managed care claims from 90 to 180 calendar days for services provided during the COVID-19 public health emergency, effective March 1, 2020. This extension applies to all managed care claims with dates of service on or after March 1, 2020.

Immediately: Billing team must update claim submission workflows to utilize the extended 180-day timely filing limit for Indiana Medicaid managed care claims with dates of service on or after March 1, 2020.
