Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) requires all personal care service providers to implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems by January 1, 2021. Providers must use either the state-sponsored Sandata system or an alternate vendor that integrates with Sandata's Aggregator for billing and reimbursement.
Action Required
By January 1, 2021: Personal care service providers must complete Sandata EVV system training and set up either Sandata or an alternate EVV vendor. Complete train-the-trainer training, email certificate to INXIXEVV@dxc.com to receive login credentials, enter employee and client information, and ensure direct care workers are trained on visit verification. Claims without EVV documentation will not be reimbursed.
