Summary
Indiana selected three managed care entities (Anthem, MHS, and UnitedHealthcare) to serve Hoosier Care Connect members starting April 1, 2021. Providers must be contracted with one or more MCEs to remain in-network and may need to enter new contracts.
Action Required
Before April 1, 2021: Providers serving Hoosier Care Connect members must contact MCEs directly to establish or renew contracts. Billing team should verify current MCE contracts and initiate credentialing/contracting process with Anthem (1-800-455-6805), MHS (1-877-647-4848), or UnitedHealthcare (1-866-686-9332) as needed to maintain in-network status.
