Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) is ending temporary COVID-19 enrollment policies and reinstating all standard provider enrollment requirements including application fees, site visits, background checks, and revalidation processes. Providers who enrolled during the emergency period must complete accelerated revalidation.
Action Required
By September 1, 2021: Providers must ensure they meet all reinstated IHCP enrollment requirements including $599 application fee, site visits, and criminal background checks. By October 1, 2021: Verify mail-to address in IHCP Provider Healthcare Portal and prepare for revalidation notifications. Providers enrolled during COVID emergency must complete accelerated revalidation cycle within 90 days of notice. MCEs must fully credential all providers before allowing claims billing.
