Summary
Indiana's Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) will maintain current Medicare reimbursement rates through December 31, 2023, but must transition to equalized rates across all Indiana Medicaid programs by January 1, 2024. This will result in decreased reimbursement rates for HIP services starting in 2024.
