Summary
IHCP is reinstating the requirement that all rendering providers must be linked to group enrollments' service locations to receive reimbursement. Effective October 1, 2023, claims from providers not properly linked to their group practice will be denied with EOB code 1010.
Action Required
Before October 1, 2023: Practice administrators must verify all rendering providers are properly linked to group enrollments through the IHCP Provider Healthcare Portal Provider Maintenance section. Review all participating group enrollments to ensure they accurately reflect all rendering providers associated with the practice. Failure to complete linkages will result in claim denials with EOB code 1010 and prescription denials at pharmacies.
