Summary
Kepro (now Acentra Health) becomes the new prior authorization and utilization management contractor for Indiana Medicaid fee-for-service starting July 1, 2023. Providers must transition to using the new Atrezzo Provider Portal for all PA submissions, administrative reviews, and system updates, while existing authorizations remain valid until exhausted.
Action Required
By July 1, 2023: Register for the Atrezzo Provider Portal at INMedicaidFFS.kepro.com and complete required training sessions. Update workflow to submit all new prior authorization requests through Atrezzo instead of the IHCP Portal. Use 'reconsideration' function for administrative reviews and 'authorization revision' for system updates. Save Kepro customer service number 866-725-9991 for authorization questions. Note: Existing Gainwell authorizations remain viewable in IHCP Portal (read-only) through December 31, 2023.
