Summary
Indiana FSSA implemented new reimbursement rates for Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF) effective January 1, 2023. Providers must resubmit all claims from January 1, 2023 onward that were originally submitted with old rates, as the system will perform mass adjustments beginning July 26, 2023.
Action Required
Immediately: PRTF providers must update billing systems with new 2023 rates received from Myers and Stauffer rate change letters. Resubmit all claims with dates of service January 1, 2023 or later that were submitted using old rates.
