Summary
Indiana Medicaid providers must use correct NPI and IHCP Provider IDs when submitting prior authorization requests through Kepro's Atrezzo Provider Portal. Using expired or incorrect IDs will cause PA extraction failures and claim payment issues in CoreMMIS.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must verify all IHCP Provider IDs are current and unexpired before submitting prior authorization requests through Kepro's Atrezzo Provider Portal. Use group/billing NPI (not rendering provider NPI) as servicing provider. Update PA submission workflow to double-check NPI and Provider ID combinations. Contact Kepro at INPriorAuthIssues@kepro.com or 866-725-9991 for portal issues. Failure to use correct IDs will cause PA extraction failures and claim payment problems.
