Summary
IHCP issued follow-up billing instructions for Division of Aging waiver rate changes that took effect July 1, 2023. Claims billed at old rates need to be rebilled manually, while claims at new rates will receive automatic mass adjustments by December 2023.
Action Required
Immediately: For services with dates of service July 1, 2023 or later that were billed at old rates, manually rebill at new Division of Aging waiver rates. For CMFR batch billing users, upload any 835 transactions from July-October 2023 not previously uploaded via CaMSS Integration Log process. AAAs and ICM organizations using manual billing must submit claim adjustments for old rate claims. Resubmit previously rejected Structured Family Caregiving Level 3 claims (S5140 U7 U3) as processing issue has been resolved.
