Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) will begin enforcing Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements for home health services starting July 1, 2024. Claims submitted after this date that don't comply with EVV requirements will be automatically denied for both fee-for-service and managed care plans.
Action Required
By July 1, 2024: Home health providers must implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for all home health services. Contact INXIXEVV@gainwelltechnologies.com for technical assistance. Attend townhall sessions on May 15 or June 12, 2024 for guidance. Failure to comply will result in automatic claim denials starting July 1, 2024.
