Summary
Indiana Medicaid will honor existing prior authorizations and care plans for 90 days when members transition between IHCP programs or managed care entities. Beginning July 1, 2024, providers must use MCE portals instead of the IHCP Provider Healthcare Portal to view authorizations for PathWays program members.
Action Required
By July 1, 2024: Register for access to MCE provider portals (Anthem at providers.anthem.com, Humana at humana.com, UnitedHealthcare at uhcprovider.com) to view service authorizations for PathWays members. Continue providing services as authorized even if you see end dates of June 30, 2024. Contact MCE service coordinators for authorization changes or additional services needed. Use the most recent state PA form for new authorization requests to MCEs.
