Summary
Indiana Medicaid is allowing school corporations to resubmit claims for school-based services at new higher rates effective January 1, 2024. Providers can now resubmit previously paid claims with updated rates and have until April 26, 2025 to file these adjustment claims.
Action Required
By April 26, 2025: School-based service providers must review all Indiana Medicaid claims from January 1, 2024 forward and resubmit any claims that were paid at old rates using the new Professional Fee Schedule rates. Submit electronically via IHCP Portal or by mail to Gainwell Technologies. Include copy of bulletin BT2024171 (first page) when submitting claims beyond standard filing limits. Do NOT bill managed care entities - all claims must go to IHCP fee-for-service processor.
