Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) is implementing retroactive site-of-service adjustment changes aligning with Medicare rates and place-of-service codes. Claims from April 1, 2024 through September 25, 2024 will be mass adjusted and providers will see reprocessed payments starting January 8, 2025.
Action Required
Starting January 8, 2025: Monitor remittance advices for mass adjustment claims with ICN/Claim IDs beginning with '52'. No immediate action required as IHCP will automatically reprocess affected claims from April 1-September 25, 2024. Future claims should use Medicare place-of-service codes and understand that IHCP physician rates are now aligned with 100% of Medicare rates.
