Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) is reclassifying certain provider types including nursing facilities, hospice, and opioid treatment programs to high-risk enrollment status. Affected providers must complete fingerprint background checks and site surveys by July 1, 2025.
Action Required
By July 1, 2025: If your practice is a nursing facility (specialty 030, 032, 033), hospice (specialty 060), or opioid treatment program (specialty 835) that enrolled or had ownership changes on/after January 1, 2023, submit fingerprint background checks for all individuals with 5% or more ownership and complete required site surveys.
