Summary
Indiana Medicaid has identified and corrected a system error that was incorrectly denying MRO case management claims with procedure code T1016 HW for licensed behavioral health professionals (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAC). Claims denied since December 31, 2024 will be automatically mass adjusted or reprocessed, appearing on remittance advices with ICNs beginning with 80 or 52.
Action Required
Immediately: Monitor remittance advices for claims with ICNs beginning with 80 (reprocessed denied claims) or 52 (mass replacements) for T1016 HW claims that were previously denied since December 31, 2024.
