Members may present either GeoBlue or BCBS Global Solutions ID cards during the transition, but all coverage, benefits, and billing processes remain unchanged.
Action Required
Immediately: Train front desk and billing staff to recognize both GeoBlue and BCBS Global Solutions ID cards as valid during the transition period through 2027. Continue using existing BlueCard verification processes - verify eligibility by calling the number on the back of ID cards and submit claims per card instructions. Do not collect payments beyond member cost-share amounts.
