Summary
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma will terminate providers from networks if they don't file claims using their billing/rendering NPI and TIN within 24 months. Providers must actively use their record IDs by filing claims regularly or risk automatic network termination.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must review all provider NPIs and TINs to ensure claims have been filed within the last 24 months. Create a tracking system to monitor claim submission frequency for each NPI/TIN combination. Schedule regular claims filing (at least every 23 months) for all active providers to maintain network participation. If any record IDs haven't been used recently, file claims immediately or complete provider onboarding form to reinstate canceled IDs.
