Summary
Effective September 30, 2025, Neighborhood Healthcare is no longer affiliated with Prospect Medical Group IPA under Molina Healthcare's Medi-Cal network. Medical authorizations must now be submitted directly to Molina through the Availity portal instead of through the IPA, and all prior authorization requests will soon require clinical documentation attachments.
Action Required
By September 30, 2025: Billing team must register for Availity portal at Availity.com if not already registered. Update authorization workflow to submit all Molina Medi-Cal prior authorization requests directly through Molina's Availity portal instead of through Prospect Medical Group IPA. Begin attaching clinical supporting documentation with all prior authorization submissions as this will become a required field that blocks submissions without attachments. Train staff on new Molina PA Training available through Availity.
