Texas has released the summary of the January 2026 DUR Board meeting with new clinical prior authorization recommendations and preferred drug list changes for Texas Medicaid. Final decisions will be incorporated into the PDL published in July 2026.

By July 1, 2026: Review the updated Texas Medicaid PDL and clinical prior authorization requirements when published. Update billing system and encounter forms to reflect new prior authorization requirements for affected medications.
