Summary
UnitedHealthcare is discontinuing the reward incentive payments for their Cancer Therapy Preferred Pathways program effective January 1, 2026. Providers can still earn rewards through December 31, 2025, and final reward checks will be paid by April 30, 2026 for qualifying cases.
Action Required
By December 31, 2025: Oncology providers must ensure all qualifying Cancer Therapy Preferred Pathways cases are properly documented and attested to receive final reward payments. Contact unitedoncology@uhc.com with questions. After January 1, 2026: Update financial expectations as reward incentive payments will no longer be available, though pathways will still be tracked for Pay for Performance metrics.
