Summary
Effective January 1, 2026, Start Hearing will replace Amplifon as the national hearing aid supplier for Cigna Healthcare patients. Providers must now contact Start Hearing at 888.304.8539 for all hearing aid orders and benefit verification instead of Amplifon.
Action Required
By January 1, 2026: Update all hearing aid ordering procedures to use Start Hearing instead of Amplifon. Replace Amplifon contact information with Start Hearing phone number 888.304.8539 in all documentation and workflows. Train staff on new ordering process and ensure they understand that dispensing fees will be paid by Start Hearing 60 days after device dispensing. For repairs/replacements, devices purchased before January 1, 2026 still go through Amplifon, while devices purchased on/after January 1, 2026 go through Start Hearing.
